While they have now largely disappeared as manufacturers original equipment, they are still very much available today. By selecting an ornament from Mascots Unlimited, today’s motorist can still add that touch of elegance and luxury while at the same time projecting his own personality and enthusiasm. All the ornaments are traditionally made from solid bronze by the Lejeune sculpture studio in England, producers of fine bronzes for more than 100 years. All the castings are meticulously finished by hand using files and scrapers, punches and polishes; all joints are made using genuine silver solder. Thereafter each piece is plated in copper, nickel and finally chromed or alternatively enameled to the specific requirement of the customer. This is equally borne out by the fact that many members of the Royal Family decorate their cars with mascots from this line; and the mascots for Rolls Royce and Bentley cars have also been made at the same fine art sculpture studio from time to time.
